Exciting Opening Weekend

Well we just performed our opening classical concerts this past weekend and I couldn't have been happier.  The orchestra and I are really enjoying working together and I hope the audience feels the same excitement that we do. We also had some fantastic social events, both pre and post concert, including a wonderful get- together at Cin Cin's after the Sunday Matinee.  It was fun for me and the musicians to mingle and to get to know all of you even better.  If you missed the fun, make sure you join us next time.

Hello everyone.

Welcome to my new blog!  I am so excited to have this opportunity to tell you all about the happenings at the SWFLSO throughout the season.  We will also talk about music, the orchestra world, life in general, etc. You will also have the chance to respond and please feel free to do so. All you have to do is click on the comment link at the bottom of the blog and follow the prompts. It's easy. And I can even comment on your comments. My hope is this will be an outlet for all of you to express your feelings about your orchestra.
